Australia Business Owner visa and Australia Investor visa.
Business migration to Australia via Australia Business immigration visa processes

Obtaining the Australia Business Owner visa is a means by which business owners, senior executives and investors can migrate to Australia. There are minimum criteria to be met in order to be eligible to receive this visa. Once the visa is granted, the applicant must maintain the criteria.

Most Business visa applicants enter Australia as a temporary business owner, business executive or business investor. Their temporary business visa is valid for 4 years. During this time interval the applicant is expected to have successfully put into operation a business (as approved in a financial plan submitted with the business visa application). If the business proposal is successful, after 2 years and within 4 years the applicant may make application to convert the temporary business visa into a permanent Business Owner visa, or permanent residency Investor visa.

There are two streams under this visa category. The first means of obtaining a visa is for the Business Owner, Senior Executive or Investor to seek State Government sponsorship. To obtain State Government sponsorship differs for each state, but in general requires the submission of a business plan and proof of having researched the local business environment. Once State Government sponsorship is granted the applicant the submits an application for a Business Owner or Investor visa under the Business Owner category of State Government sponsorship to the Australian Immigration Department.

The second stream is by regular application to the Australian Immigration Department. The application process still requires approval from the State Government.

The difference between State Government sponsorship and the regular direct application to the Australian Immigration Department is that in the initial visa application stage the financial requirements are not as great. Later when it is time to convert the temporary business owner or business investor visa to a permanent residency visa, in the evaluation stage conducted by immigration officials, with State Government sponsorship, your requirements are less than those required for the regular Australia Immigration department Business Owner criteria.

Age restrictions are normally set at 45 years. However there are circumstances where the age restriction is lifted to 55 years of age. All applicants for any business visa or investor visa, aside from having a previously successful investor or business owner / business executive background and financial backing for proposed new ventures, applicants must produce evidence of at least one of the following :

—Create and maintain employment in Australia for Australian and Australian permanent residents (excluding the applicants own family) —Develop of international business links
—Export goods and services
—Produce goods and services that would other wise be imported
—Create commercial competitiveness in the economic community

All business owner visa and investor visa applicants must comply with the following requirements once established in Australia:

—Maintain substantial ownership and management in the business
—Be actively involved in the day to day management of the business
—Maintain at least one of the previous 5 factors.

After establishing the business in Australia for at least 2 years. You may be eligible for the permanent resident business owner or permanent residency investor visa if you:

—Employed in the 12 months before the application for permanent residency is submitted; employed full time one Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident (who is not a member of the applicants family) or the equivalent number part time employees who are Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents.
—Maintained personal and business assets of a certain level. These levels differ according to the type of visa applied for and whether or not State Government sponsorship is involved.
—Have a minimum designated financial figure business turnover
—Have kept to your business proposal which allowed you to obtain the visa.

This visa processing is very slow and can be quite costly in terms of travel to Australia and speaking to arranging financial plans and business research. Noel Hewitt Associates LLC only processes the actual business application. The visa application processes involved in obtaining this visa are complex. It is suggested you seek the assistance of a qualified migration specialist when making an application under this class of visa.
